Kaizen Centre Birmingham
The all new Kaizen Centre Birmingham is a seriously cool place for anyone looking to get involved in health and fitness. It’s no gym! It is what we describe as a coaching centre. We have HIIT classes, Personal Training, Martial Arts, Strength & Conditioning, Yoga, MetCon, Gyrokinesis and a lot more classes to be added to the schedule soon.
We are 100% about quality tuition and getting you to where you want to be. In addition, we are a lively, encouraging bunch of athletes, teachers and coaches with a culture of hard work, intelligent programming and lots of fun.
Within the scope of clients we currently work with are many local residents and businesses, people looking for a great workout, some chill time with yoga, self defence skills or some one-to-one personal coaching.
We also work with professional dancers, racket teams and other people who are training for injury rehabilitation and sports specific achievements.

Our new training space in the Jewellery Quarter is on Frederick Street and is easily accessible from most of the city centre, Broad Street and Colmore Row Districts.
Also in the Jewellery Quarter we have a separate injury clinic, offering screenings, treatments and rehabilitation advice.
Best Gym in Birmingham?
Nobody can lay claim to being the best gym in Birmingham. Everyone’s aspirations and needs are different and each gym caters for their clients in their own way. We’re not here to compete with EasyGym and Pure Gym. Like we say, we’re not a gym! We are in fact very different and our clients love the fact that we have a person-centred approach to training and a strong focus on community.

Our classes all involve some tuition, ‘Kaizen’ after all is the principle of continuous improvement and we make sure that learning and development is a part of all that we do.
Darryl still heads the coaching programme but has a great team of instructors, teachers and coaches that work from the facility and they all embody the ‘coaching’ principle, getting involved in improving the technical abilities and levels of the clients that work they with.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time for the centre and there are no boundaries as to what will be possible moving forward. There could well be Tai Chi classes coming soon, as well as a Primal Movement class, Physiotherapy and lots more.. And that’s just the stuff we’re working on now!” Darryl continues: ‘A lot of classes are still very new and can be small in terms of numbers, so it’s a great time to get involved for some foundation training. I’m passionate about building the centre into something special. Our clients are delighted and so are we!”
